Titanoboa: The Biggest Snake To Ever Slither The Earth

Titanoboa has been described from newly discovered fossil records in north-east Colombia. It would have lived 58-60 million years ago, was probably 13m (42ft) long and was so wide it could reach up to a persons hips!

Perhaps tales of giant snakes have a basis in reality after all!!
